Vicente Baja was originally called Jabai Vi. That name was later adopted as the umbrella label, partly because Vicente Baja works better as an artist name.
By working with male and female singers, it became possible to combine different voices. Vicente Baja focuses on English-language music, although there may also be a Spanish-language song from time to time.
